The Pilot (Part 1)

The Pilot (Part 1) episode of the independent sitcom, BREAK A LEG. Brought to you by the acclaimed viewers of Arrested Development, Scrubs and The Office.

-David Penn has just gotten his sitcom, GROOMMATES, picked up. The problem is he's remembering this from what appears to be a storage room, with what appears to be a gun to his head -- that's being held by what appears to be his would-be killer. It all started here and it all may just end here as well.

This is now my favorite show. Well... Other than "House", but I can't expect that from anyone.

Arrested Development + Down Syndrome = Break a Leg

That's actually how we're pitching the show to execs. They seem to be liking that.

It started lame, but then it got better. I liked it and will watch the other two episodes after Chuck. Although, this looks like a major ripoff of the office (uk/us) and Scrubs, it was something to watch that was entertaining.

Yuri, Vlad. Like your show, it sparked my interest in doing some searching into other production and shows you've been a part of. I have to tell you I really liked what I found. To tell you the truth right now I am currently reading scripts and talking to differant writers/producers in the interest of financially funding a movie. I am really interested in talking to you about this. If you are interested email me and we can go from there. Keep up the good work and hope to hear from you.

Mark -- I emailed you but never got a response. I just sent you another one, if you'd like, you can contact me directly at yuri@breakaleg.tv or vlad@breakaleg.tv (that would be, obviously, for Vlad.)

Thanks!
-Yuri

This is a great show! I am very happy I stumbled across this! Don't worry about the nay sayers...the same people said the same thing about Arrested Development...and we all know what a gem that is!

Good luck and keep producing great shows! We'll be here as long as you keep it funny!

I just came across the "Break a Leg" show. After watching the pilot episode, I thought I would shout out a bravo--although, it felt a little weird since I'm alone in my office. Nevertheless, thanks for making me laugh!! Keep up the good work.

PS Of course, by bravo, I was saying I enjoyed the show. I didn't mean a murderer who kills by a treacherous surprise attack and often is hired to do the deed. That just seems to get confused so often.
